Porto Surgical held on May 5 the I Symposium of Compliance with the purpose of presenting the bases and practical principles of personal and professional conduct that must be observed in business activities and relationships. During the symposium, topics such as the Brazilian Anti-Bribery and Corruption Laws, the FCPA – International Corrupt Practices Act, and AdvaMed’s Code of Ethics were discussed. AdvaMed is an association that deals with interactions with HCPs – health care professionals with which Stryker is associated. The company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct was also presented.
We had the presence of the guest speaker, Gisele Figueiredo – STRYKER’s Senior Manager Compliance Officer.
The Porto Surgical board of directors, all managers and employees from various sectors of the company were present.
